Brixton Splash 2008 - Free Street
Carnival - A3 Posters and Flyer Design
Brixton Splash is
a free street carnival that celebrates all
the good things coming out of the south
london suburb. The organisers already had
a logo in place and a few photos from last
years celebrations and asked flyer designers
to put together a set of flyers - initially
to advertise for volunteers and then following
on, posters and double sided leaflets promoting
the festival itself. The posters and flyers
use vivid primary colours and we enhanced
the imagery to look as if it had been painted
using neon colours. For typography we used
a grafiti style to appeal to the urban yoofs.
